War Eagle!

Claire is getting pumped about the upcoming football season...

She slept four continuous hours last night, which is the longest she's ever gone. She must have been dreaming about touchdowns. Hopefully she will do so again tonight so that mommy can get some rest!

so sweet. charlie actually has a matching outfit - not a cheerleading one though (i'm sure bryan wants to make that clear:)
glad she's giving you a little break with sleeping too! hopefully that will continue, and even stretch!

John was living in Augusta while on assignment with Southern Company when Casey was little. He returned home one weekend and Casey looked up at him and in her baby voice said "Wah Eagle!" John asked me what I had done to her; I told him that if he had been around he could have indoctrinated her. It must have worked because she is now a junior at Auburn (and just got a scholarship named after her!) Wah Eagle!!

Hi! I just wanted to say "hi"--I have heard a lot about Claire but just found your blog. She is absolutely adorable, especially as a cheerleader. ;) My younger daughter was born with a R-CDH two years ago. Her middle name is Claire and my older daughter's middle name is Elizabeth. :) We just celebrated Leah's 2nd birthday but remember those first few months like they were yesterday. Feel free to stop by her caringbridge page. Good luck with Claire!

I don't quite know when my daughter started sleeping through the night, but she's four months old now and I feel more rested. One thing that has helped me get more rest is feeding her in bed rather than getting up and sitting in a chair. Another thing is that she only eats once a night now. She doesn't even wake up, she just squirms around and gets fussy. Anyway, it's a temporary phase and she is really adorable.
