Not Going Home Today

They weighed Claire last night and she had lost weight, so we can't go home today. They are going to start supplementing my milk with formula to give her extra calories. They are sending a nutritionist by to talk with me today. I am going bonkers in this hospital room, but would hate for them to send her home too early and her get dehydrated or lose a lot of weight over the weekend.

To James and Cindy,
congratulations! Claire is beautiful and making great progress. She'll go home when she's ready and it will be a fantastic day. It took Imogen 5 months before she went home and like you we never wanted to go home a day to early. We have followed your progress all the way. God has blessed you too.
All the best,

Dear Cindy,
We are still praying for you, James and Claire. Take care of yourself and you will all be home together soon. Elisha lost weight after we got home and it upset me so much, so just be patient that being in the hospital is best for Claire right now. You are all doing a great job and I think your feeding plan will work out for the best. Keep up the good work and try to get some rest!

Hey Guys,
We are praying that Claire is ready to go home soon. I can only imagine how weary you are of being in the hospital at this point. We are faithfully checking the blog and praying for all of you.

I'm sorry Cindy, I was hoping to hear better news. She is very close to being ready to go home and that is still fantastic news.

I can't imagine how frustrating it is to have to sit in that hospital room. I'm sorry it is getting to you. Tie another knot in your rope and hang on a few more days. Before long you, James and Claire will be to relax and enjoy your baby in your own home.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Before you know it you'll have her home and find yourself thinking, "I wonder if we take her back if they'll keep her for a couple of hours for us". Just kidding!!! I can't imagine what it's like going home everyday and having to leave her behind. Her time will come soon, hopefully. Better safe than sorry.

Love you guys,

Dear James and Cindy,
What a disappointment! I was excited about Claire getting to go home and I'm not even there. It sounds like you are under very good medical care---they are obviously doing what is best for Claire. I've shown everyone at work the picture of my newest niece and they have all oohed and aahed over how beautiful she looks. Can't wait to see you guys. We'll keep praying that it is at your house and not the hospital.
Love, Di
